A very popular Giant attack consists of a large horde of Giants with several Healers floating over their shoulders, frantically healing them as they plunder through the village. Giants are best used on the front line as "meat shields", absorbing all of the defensive firepower as their counterpart troops come in behind them and level the village. This will cost you a 3 star attack if not planned for ahead of time. This means that Giants can not travel alone, they need other troops to watch their backs! 2nd is if the village is designed with defenses (like Hidden Tesla Tower ) way off in the corners of the map, the Giants will have a long way to travel at their slow movement speed to clear the map of all of the defenses. They will not defend themselves until all defenses are gone. 1st is that any troop (both CC troops and Skeletons from the Skeleton Traps ) will be able to attack the giants uncontested. This means that Giants have a couple of setbacks that need to managed properly if you are going to have a successful attack using them. They target defenses until all defenses are destroyed. When traveling in groups they will blast their way through walls and level defenses in a hurry. They have a slow movement speed and slower attack but they are meant to be used in large groups and under an assortment of spells that will speed them up. I feel like they'll get much more powerful at 10, but that's a recurring theme with every troop it seems.Giants are the 1st large troop that you get in your Barracks, and the 1st troop that can be upgraded to lvl 8. They start our fairly weak but as they advance in level they become one of the games super powers. In the meantime I'm going to hit rank 9 Beta minion after today's loot.
#CLASH OF CLANS BETA MINION HOARD UPGRADE#
I figure I need to upgrade the troop to make it a worthwhile strategy anyway. While I am successful with archer-minion army comp, typically using Archer x3 and Minion x1 + machine. However, I'm wondering if other troops go with minions better.

I feel as though that may go to 2/3 once my troops are upgraded. I always get 1 star at my current rank, and sometimes I get 2 stars. They are extremely good at clean-up for me, and you get so many! My current strategy entails utilizing my archers to take out the air defense while the machine tanks everything and my beta minions are usually saved as a clean-up crew. I have great success with beta minions when I attack bases. Right now I have up to Baby Dragons unlocked in the barracks, as the cannons/night witches didn't appeal to me for the cost it would take to get them.īaby Dragon: 2 (I don't like baby dragons and they seem to be on their way out the door in the meta). I'm currently floating around the 2k trophy range (but I go up a little every day it seems) for reference.

My troops feel a little weak at the moment because I semi-rushed to BH 6 (highest upgrade is 8). However, the limited resources have made me start thinking what can go best with what for offense, as I want to go into a higher trophy range for more loot and whatnot. I'm currently BH 6 and working on upgrading basically everything.

I've been focusing on Builder's Hall as I strongly prefer that game mode to the original clash of clans.
